. . . Respect Them! The ACS(I) Scout Troop 1999

The ACS(I) Scout Troop holds its meetings every Saturday from 9am-12am. During each meeting, skills such as knots, pioneering and cooking are passed down to the Scouts. The Scouts also have hands-on experience in all the activities organized for them by the Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC). Sometimes, Ventures and old scouts drop by to help out in the meeting. The Seniors teach us survival skills such as first aid, exploration and expedition, which would be useful, not only as a venture scout, but as part of our lives.

All this training boils down to taking test for our Scouting Standards and progressive badges. Scouts also do fun stuff during meetings. We have our own songs and cheering sessions. Sometimes, our meetings may be converted to a hike or expedition. We also go for canoeing, swimming, mountain biking and other enjoyable outings.
